Our family has always dreamt of being able to provide quality food for, not only our own family, but for others who share the same values as well. We started in 2020 by purchasing land in Baker, Florida, and we have since come a long way on our farm! We currently have rabbits, pigs, chickens, a donkey, goats, ducks, and of course our dogs! We also have a large garden that we are working to expand in the coming seasons. We are also planning to start a nursery, add bees for honey and pollination, and expand our chicken pens to increase our egg production. One of our long term goals is to be able to start a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) which would allow us to provide fresh eggs, produce, honey and potentially items like milk, soap, bread, and other natural products to other families who want in on the goodness on a regular basis!
There is so much joy that comes from raising and growing your own food, but with that also comes a lot of hard work and, well… money! Farmers are directly affected when the prices of staples go up, such as corn, wheat, or wood, just to name a few. And even in “normal” non-inflation times, it quickly adds up caring for a farm. Each animal requires housing, food, medications, etc. If you choose to purchase our items, any profits we make will go straight to our farm and helping with our efforts and goals. In other words, you can help us help you!
